Borders was a standalone Jenny Everywhere comic story written and illustrated by EGridley. Although an early Barbelith Jenny Everywhere story, it is not considered part of the official list of the original 13 Barbelith comic stories, due to never having been finished; only the first page was ever published.

Plot
An unknown narrator thinks back to something they have never told anybody else about, not even their husband: the story of their old schoolmate Jenny Everywhere, who knew about all sort of things, many of which never happened — at least in this universe.
Worldbuilding
Jenny
- This story features a version of Jenny Everywhere with Asian features and a thin face.
- She displays knowledge of alternative histories and other worlds openly, but still came across as “the smartest girl in school”.
Universes
- This story takes place all in one universe, although some of the things Jenny mention evidently refer to other universes.
Other
- Among the things the narrator recalls Jenny knowing about are:
- Faceless babies;
- Hindu cocktail gods;
- The Mongol invasion of North America;
- Moon tea;
- The underwater cities just south of Malaysia;
- “Entire worlds without movies or ice cream”;
- “Everything”.
Continuity
- One of the thing Jenny Everywhere apparently mentioned was “Hindu cocktail gods”. A different incarnation of Jenny encountered Shiva in COMIC: Soulless Mate; although this story had not yet been completed at the time Borders was released, it is not inconceivable that Gridley would have been aware of Alex Hernandez's plans for it.
