Jenny Over-There was once called in the context of her job at the Multidimensional Finders Service to help locate the King of England, a “foolish, fond old man” who had “run away”. Jenny divined that, after losing his clothing in a storm (as reported by the Earl of Kent), he had put on a flower crown, and she informed the caller that he was currently “pestering a blind man (…) up by a big tree”. (PROSE: The Tribulations of Jenny Over-There)

Behind the scenes

The plot details summarised in The Tribulations of Jenny Over-There allow the identification of the King as (a parody of) Shakespeare's King Lear, himself an adaption of the legendary king Leir.
