In Reality Z-25 31-H, the Yakuza were a far-reaching Japanese criminal organisation. They murdered Takako Yoshida's father when she was eight because he had failed to pay a debt he owed to them, and subsequently took Taki and her mother into an illegal servitude, training the former as an assassin. She was eventually freed from their power at the age of eighteen, becoming a superhero within Section P. (PROSE: Battle Angel Yoshida Bio)
