Samson
Samson was a supernatural modern-day hero similar to popular depictions of the Biblical figure, a version of whom existed in Reality Z-25 31-H.
He was a part of the alliance of superheroes who tried to fight back against Ro-Man's attempted invasion of Earth in Buranda in the late 2000s; although his supernatural strength was “more than a match for their advanced technology”, the heroes were ultimately unable to overcome the aliens on their own, with Earth only being saved by the intervention of Stardust the Super-Wizard. Behind the scenes
The character of Samson originally appeared in superhero comics published by the Fox Features Syndicate, and is in the public domain. He was not, as one might naively believe, a depiction of the original Biblical Samson, but purportedly his direct descendant, who had somehow inherited his hair-bound supernatural strength.
