Altern Corporation

The Altern Corporation were “the world’s leading scientific innovators” in one universe. After they'd both graduated, Jenny Everywhere helped her best friend Laura Drake get a job at Altern. She later “borrowed” some technical components from the Corporation to complete the machine she used to travel beyond her universe in search of Jenny following her mysterious disappearance. In another universe they ran most of the electronics aboard the Photonic Neptuniversity space station in Earth orbit, giving the occupants justified skepticism about their privacy. (PROSE: Extradimensional Experiments)
