In the Collapsed Cosmos, Tiresias retreated to the Red Lion Inn. When Jenny Everywhere and Glendalf entered the Inn, Tiresias was engaged in “an elaborate discussion about magic and transness” with Morgan Le Fay. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)

Behind the scenes

Tiresias is a figure of a blind prophet from Greek mythology, present as an incidental figure in many myths. According to one, prior to gaining the gift of prophecy, Tiresias, then a man, was magically transformed into a woman by Hera and lived as one for seven years (even becoming a priestess of Hera) before being transformed back. Tiresias's apparent acceptance of the life of a woman while in the body of one has led to modern reinterpretations of Tiresias as a genderfluid character, with the sheer magical sex change more generally giving rise to trans readings of the myth; this is presumably the reason for Tiresias's “discussion of magic and transness” with Morgan during the character's cameo in The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere.
