On Thanksgiving Day 1992, Arganthone-056 defeated the Ghost of the First Premium Turkey. They would go on to remember the Turkey as one of the most fearsome foes they had faced, trumping even the Snap-Dragon of the Christmas Toyland. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)

Behind the scenes

The mention of the Ghost of the First Premium Turkey is a reference to the short story Turkeys Turning the Tables by W.D. Howells, which originally appeared in the anthology Christmas Every Day and Other Stories, published in 1892. As such, the figure is in the public domain.
