In one universe, Zoot Jensen was the husband of Loxie Smith. Together, the two owned and operated the Koala Bay Bares Naturist Resort; practicing as he preached, Zoot was rarely seen wearing anything more than flip-flops.

Loxie and Zoot's business was often threatened by their bigoted neighbour Tex Tyler. Jenny Everywhere once shifted into the middle of the Resort, and, although Zoot and his wife originally assumed her to be either mad or simply concussed from the shock of her rough parachute-landing, she ended up helping them foil Tyler's latest scheme.

Since this scheme was a classic supernatural hoax, with Tyler dressing up as a vengeful ghost, Jenny suggested that the Koala Bay Bares use body paint and sound effects to disguise themselves as a cohort of nudist spooks intent on taking their “wayward sibling” Tyler back to the Underworld. Zoot participated in the prank, which had the desired effect of scaring Tyler off, and after which Jenny left that universe. (COMIC: Ghost Story)

Behind the scenes

Zoot was one of the main characters of the webcomics Loxie & Zoot and The Bare Pit. His full name was not mentioned in COMIC: Ghost Story. His profile on the official Bare Pit cast list read:

Zoot, along with his wife Loxie, is a co-owner of the Koala Bay Bares Naturist Resort. This has helped him realise the dream of a lifetime... to go to work nude! Raised in a naturist family, Zoot has grown up a lifelong nudist. Whilst clothes aren't anathema to him, he has been known to forget to get dressed when venturing into the textile world. Zoot also has an interest in writing for TV and has a few ideas in the pipeline (none of them very original).
