Plot

A group of construction workers repair a road as their co-worker, tba, arrives late. One worker complains, but another tells him to let it go, just as the foreman dismisses everyone for their break, except tba. Alone, the worker discovers a treasure chest, rummaging through it to discover a Golden Key among other pieces of gold. As he begins to transport the chest home, a woman with short curly hair asks him what he is doing, a distraction unbeknownst to him; her partner knocks tba out with a monkey wrench.

Meanwhile, a woman is inside a house with Billy, a sapient monkey. Billy sleeps his hangover off whilst the woman finishes a cup of coffee and exits the building, proclaiming to adventure that she is Jenny Everywhere. As she remarks about her home not being so bad given it is cheap and that she has a monkey, she is almost hit by a speeding, helmeted police officer. She follows him, smelling adventure.

Soon, at his headquarters, [boss] scolds his grunts for their failures, angry that the treasure chest he had sent the duo out to retrieve for him haven't returned. Firing a gun above them as a fear tactic, he sends his red team to find his rogue employees and the chest, while giving his blue team confirmation to proceed with their mysterious orders. With the fear of death put in them, the red team sets off, not accepting failure as an outcome.

At the scene of the crime, the police question the foreman; the only clue is a single gold coin, but a bald police officer believes [tba] staged the crime to fraudulently claim Workers' Comp. Jenny arrives as the police leave, speaking aloud that adventure is afoot. An onlooker tries to flirt with Jenny, but she shuts him down and follows the clues into Bandit Woods.

Tba has been taken to a hospital by a third police officer, who discusses the attack with a doctor, who concludes that tba has a concussion. The police officer is reassured about the attack not being fatal, commenting on how tba even looks happy ― he is actually just high on morphine.

Billy watches from atop his home as the red team passes by, although the grunt on the bicycle is far behind. Meanwhile, the duo who stole the treasure abandon it, believing it to be a set-up ― the man tosses the Golden Key into a nearby bush. A local couple then discovers the treasure whilst hunting.

The helmeted police officer tells the police chief that the crime doesn't make any sense as the worker has no enemies.
