Johann-Octavius Gans, also known as Xailenrath, is an American cartoonist, character designer and logo designer. According to his Artstation page, he lives in Seattle.

Gans is an event regular for the Jenny Everywhere Day website and has also used Jenny Everywhere (in various incarnations) as an incidental guest character in several webcomics.
