The White Rabbit was a figure who, in several different contexts, led humans into more magical realms.
In one universe, when she was six, Janet Jenkins followed a version of the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole which actually led to a parallel world populated by the likes of gnomes and fairies. After she returned, the girl Janet's stories were dismissed as childish fancies, but she eventually got the chance to tell them to a believing audience decades later after Tash Spicer had her own adventure in the same parallel world, having been shifted there by accident by Sven Allestädes. (COMIC: Enchanted)
