Plot
Fighting off robot Napoleonic soldiers using a raygun, a surprisingly cheerful Jenny Everywhere reflects aloud on how odd it is that she landed herself into this predicament while simply wanting to get Jane Austen's autograph.
Worldbuilding
Jenny Everywhere
- This story features a Jenny with the standard physical appearance. She wears a simple white dress or tunic going down to her ankles, blue sneakers, and a black jacket; her goggles are copper-coloured and she wields a red raygun, although it is not clear that this is a usual part of her equipment.
Universes
- This story takes place in a universe where robot Napoleonic soldiers exist.
Behind the scenes
Background
The strip was published with an ‘author commentary’ giving some insight into the creation process:
I missed the Remake/Remodel for this by a few hours due to scanner issues, but what the heck.
Jenny Everywhere is an open source character. Scanned inks, arm repositioned, robot Napoleonic soldiers doubled, coloured and lettered on computer. Being a massive geek, see if you can work out which setting logos the "Everywhere" letters come from. |
