The Video-Bots existed in one universe.

Physical appearance and abilities

Two Video-Bot models are known to have existed. The most common variant resembled spherical video cameras with microphones attached to their bases. Each had a small panel on the side, which would presumably allow access to their interior mechanics if removed. The other, rarer type resembled more traditional blockier video cameras, and, in place of microphones, were outfitted with stalk-eyes that attached to the top of the robots. These were seen only in Ms Stern's office.

The Video-Bots possessed the ability to hover above the ground, which they used to move from place to place, not being outfitted with any sort of legs. (COMIC: Bacterial Lunarversity)

Biography

The Video-Bots were sent to the Lunar College of Selene on their universe's Moon alongside a team of students and teachers. Intended to film the College residents' every move so as to capture ample footage for an IMAX documentary about the program, the Bots were also used for the more nefarious purpose of observing the young geniuses attending the college so that their superiors would be able to put a stop to any rebellious ideas that might arise.

Jenny Everywhere managed to get herself expelled from the College by swearing at a Video-Bot. During Jenny's escape from the university, one of her friends managed to take control of the Video-Bots, simultaneously keeping them from observing Jenny's plans and also sending one with Jenny to the outside of the base to record her pouring her bacteria onto the surface of the moon (thereby kickstarting the evolution of life). (COMIC: Bacterial Lunarversity)
