Biography
AVGN was known to Peter Griffin, who decided to dress up as him for Halloween. (COMIC: Halloween Preparations, The Curse of a Fairly Normal Halloween) He was dressed as the character when he asked Jenny Everywhere if she had decided on a costume (COMIC: Halloween Preparations) and, on Halloween night, Everywhere asked what his costume was, with him responding with a hint: "He's gonna take you back to the past[...] to play the shitty games that[...]". (COMIC: The Curse of a Fairly Normal Halloween)

The Angry Video Game Nerd, otherwise known as AVGN or the Nerd, is the main character in The Angry Video Game Nerd, a series created by James Rolfe, who also portrays the character. Peter's hint in COMIC: The Curse of a Fairly Normal Halloween being the start of the AVGN theme song.
AVGN was not explicitly named in COMIC: Halloween Preparations or COMIC: The Curse of a Fairly Normal Halloween.
