Govind Chandran played Professor Alexander in the 2011 Jenny Everywhere short film VIDEO: Mitigating Circumstances.

The biography written by Chandran for himself on imdb read:

Govind, known as 'Gov', is a Malaysian of Sri Lankan decent who was born in England while his family was briefly living there. The middle child of five boys, Govind grew up in Malaysia till the age of 15 when he moved to England to study at The Leys School in Cambridge. After finishing both his GCSE's and A Levels there, Govind moved to Oxford and gained a 1st Class Honours Degree and a Masters in Film.

During this time he wrote, directed and produced a number of short films, also meeting frequent collaborator Joshua Taylor-Davies. Having completed his studies, Govind continued to work in the industry whilst taking up a teaching role at Oxford Brookes University, first as a Technical Specialist, then Lecturer in Film and Media.
