The “Barbelith Stories” are the line-up of the thirteen earliest standalone comic adventures of Jenny Everywhere, created by members of the selfsame Barbelith forum where she was created.
Stories
The canonical list of thirteen titles, as given on the original Jenny Everywhere website, is not a complete list of everything done in that early period. The earliest story begun was Cars, by creator Steven Wintle, which was never finished, much like Afrenasia and Borders. A complete story, New York Chaos, was originally part of the line-up but was effectively “decanonised” due to sensitivity concerns. Finally, Narcissist was created as part of a “wandering notebook” belonging to the members of the Barbelith forums, known as the Blue Book, but had not yet been digitised in the heyday of the Jenny Everywhere website.
The collection as generally accepted is this:
- Name's Not Down by Joe Macaré and Nelson Evergreen, the first Jenny Everywhere story released
- My Bloody Valentine by David Barnett and John Miers, the first Jenny Everywhere story completed
- Mrs Zirma by David LoTempio
- Damn Fine Hostile Takeover (Part 1) by Joe Macaré and Nelson Evergreen
- Damn Fine Hostile Takeover (Part 2) by Joe Macaré and Nelson Evergreen
- The Late Shift by Rob Cave and Nelson Evergreen
- Holiday Pandemonium by Alex Hernandez and Andres Allocco
- Graveyard Shift by Alex Hernandez and Andres Allocco
- Makeshift Multiverse by Alex Hernandez] (script), Mario Torres (art), and Nico Bovoso (colors)
- Beauty as a Beast by Alex Hernandez and Andres Allocco
- The Death of Jenny Everywhere by David Barnett and Catherine Wright
- Bacterial LunarversityAlex Hernandez and John Miers
- Soulless Mate by Alex Hernandez and Scott D.M. Simmons
