Genevieve, Princess of Everywhere used a magical dimensional transport called a dream spinner to travel from world to world.

Description

The dream spinner took the form of a modified spinning wheel (whose rim was “bejeweled with strange crystals”) affixed onto on a small wooden platform lined with a railing, which was large enough to house either two reasonably thin humans, or one human and a few raccoons. “Esoteric runes” were painted over the entire contraption. It was operated by working the treadle of the spinning wheel.

When examining its inner workings, Professor Awesome realised that many of its components were recognisable to him, although they were carved out of walnuts: he recognised a dynamo, a dimensional shift engine and Moriarty guides.(PROSE: Pit Stop)

History

The dream spinner was built by the intelligent raccoon Wu, possibly with Willow's help, to allow Princess Genevieve and themselves “to travel beyond the real world into the realms of dreams and what-ifs”.

While Genevieve was taking a long journey to find Mordorak of the Nine Noses, it broke down, landing her in the vicinity of the home of her local counterpart in the closest universe. Jenny and Kim recovered it, and Jenny then went to Professor Awesome for help with repairing it. (PROSE: Pit Stop)
