In one universe, David Cassidy became President of the United States of America. A version of Jenny Everywhere's friend from another universe also existed in this timeline, but was older, possibly because the two universes' timelines were not in sync.
After one of the older version's ID cards expired, Jenny Everywhere filched it and brought it to her underage friend to allow him to drink at bars with her. She did not tell the friend in question about the origin of the “extremely realistic false I.D.” for several years, and when she did, her friend, who believed her stories about dimension-traveling to be outrageous tall tales and a sort of in-joke between them, did not believe her.
