The Star Wars series is a long-running science-fantasy franchise, spun-off from the 1977 film of the same name.

Taking place in a fictional, well-travelled Galaxy whose relationship to present-day Earth is unclear at best, the series mixes stories of interstellar warfare, politics and rebellions with the supernatural struggles of various mortal beings trained to use the Force, a mysterious power running through the universe. The original film and its two direct sequels starred Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and robot sidekicks R2D2 and C3PO, with Darth Vader and the Emperor as principal villains. The prequel films featured a young version of Vader, still going by the name of Anakin Skywalker, and spanned his glory days from his induction into the Jedi Order to his betrayal of them to the Dark Side. Various other media with different protagonists exist.

The series has been referenced many times in Jenny Everywhere-related media. In COMIC: Infinity Apartment, Jenny's friend Thuban was depicted as a fan of the series, and dressed up as Anakin for Halloween. Return of the Jedi, the third theatrical film in the series, was mentioned in the The Cosmic Beholder story COMIC: Meanwhile, On Earth. A character made a reference to the Dark Side in COMIC: 24 Hour Comic 2019. Banthas, a non-sapient species from the series, were mentioned in the 2022 Jenny Everywhere Day entry PROSE: Barbelith Baristas. In PROSE: Dog Days of Sumer, one of Scott Sanford's Jenny Everywhere stories, Jenny was shown to be in possession of what appears to be a lightsaber, the most iconic weapon in the series, claiming to have gotten it in a place “far, far away”, an allusion to the series' memorable description of its setting as “a galaxy far, far away” in the opening text scrawls. The light-knife used by Jenny in PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere was also noticeably inspired by lightsabers.
