Zed Vs. Word of Mouth was a one-page comic story by Johann-Octavius Gans, the eleventh installment of the Zed Vs. The World. It featured an unauthorised cameo by Ray Bann, a character from the webcomic Tangentville.

Plot
Zed Hudson tries to give free advertising to Ophelia Resnick's coffee place by using his superpowers to act out a cartoonishly strong reaction to the coffee she sells. Ophelia is unimpressed with his shenanigans as usual, but a passing customer soon proves that Zed's loopy tactic is actually working.
