A Flying Platform was used by the Shadow Queen in her rampage through New York City in Reality Z-25 31-H, sweeping over the streets from above and using her Shadow-Ray on the citizens below to turn their shadows into shadow-warriors loyal to her.

The night following her initial attack, the Odds followed her to her home and managed to defeat her. She attempted to flee aboard the Flying Platform, but Merv the Griffin, Shadow-Merv and Shadow-Captain-Evening intercepted her. After she was arrested, Armstrong Fatbuckle convinced the other Odds to keep the Flying Platform for themselves, and they immediately put it to use to patrol the streets for remaining animated shadows, which they returned to normal using the Reverse-Shadow-Ray. (COMIC: Chasing Shadows)
