April Fools' Day was a holiday celebrating fun, jokes and pranks.
The Faction of the Fooling Fish considered April Fools' Day the most important day of the year, given their modus operandi. When they decided to make a concerted effort to reintroduce themselves to the Multiverse after acquiring a tachyonic sailing ship, they did so on April Fools' Day, playing complex but well-intentioned tricks on multiple people and groups across the dimensions, including a group of incarnations of Jenny Everywhere.
