The Agatean Empire was a nation from the Discworld. It had an elaborate writing system involving pictograms. The Discworld's jenny Everywhere was native to the Agatean Empire. (PROSE: Pratfall)
Behind the scenes
The Agatean Empire is a recurring element of the Discworld series, with which PROSE: Pratfall was an unofficial crossover. Terry Pratchett largely used the Agatean Empire as a Discworld equivalent of China, or sometimes Asia at large; as such, the Discworld's Jenny being Agatean is an analogue of the usual depiction of Earth-based Jennies as being of Asian descent.
