Richard was a companion to one incarnation of Jenny Everywhere, who also travelled in the company of a Michael Wherever, the superhero ShatterScreen, the robot Delta 22-6 and the ninja Silence. Richard appeared to be a frail, elderly man, his body weight supported by a cane. However, there was an obvious glint of cunning in his eyes and he was much stronger and spryer than he looked.

Their group, while using an empty warehouse as a base of operations, was forcibly teleported to the testing complex where they had to compete with the team of the Jenny who travelled with Odious. Some way into the trials, however, the older team managed to convince the band shirt Jenny's team that they meant them no harm, and got them to instead sit with them and discuss which would concede to the other for the portal. (GAME: The Jenny Everywhere Roleplaying Game)

Behind the scenes

The NPC stats at the end of the Jenny Everywhere Roleplaying Game sourcebook name Richard as “Richard (New)”, a format also used for the Jenny and Michael of Richard's party to avoid condition with those of the main team. This suggests that at an earlier stage of development of the game, a different version of Richard may have been intended to appear as part of one of the two first teams.
