In one universe, Dörx (pronounced Dorks) were a “heavy metal parody band”, whose act consisted of trying to make as much disruptive noise with their instruments as possible. They were playing at the Faux Fur End on the night Ulysses Dumas set his second appointment with Jenny there; he hoped that the loudness of their performance would keep anyone from overhearing the rather sensitive secret he wanted to discuss with Jenny.
