The Department of Philosophy was one of the Departments of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids's Intelligence Institute.
They, the Department of Wizardry and the Department of Theology were puzzled by the apparent interchangeability of the Creator's biochemical Love Potion and its wholly supernatural equivalent created by Aphrodite herself. (PROSE: The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids)
The Department was eventually shut down by the Supreme Quaestor for daring to question whether there was such a thing as absolute knowledge. Valerius-1497, one of its erstwhile-member, was reassigned to the Department of Problem-Solving. (PROSE: Magic Trick)
