Moriarty guides were a potential component of an interdimensional travel device, known to Professor Awesome. The dream spinner built by Wu for Genevieve, Princess of Everywhere also contained Moriarty guides connected to the dimensional shift engine, although they were made up of chewed-up walnut shells.
