In one universe, Doctor Clinton was a human scientist studying ways to cure infantile paralysis. Though lacking in funds, he achieved early successes which even reached the ears of Jane 6em35 on Mars. After she stole three million dollars in gold as the Magician from Mars, she gave half to Clinton's assistant, only giving her “Magician from Mars” moniker as a name. To her surprise, Clinton published an open letter in the newspapers thanking the “Magician” for her donation; this inspired Jane to use the other half of the stolen gold to actually become a superhero under the “Magician from Mars” name.
