Lightning Made of Owls is an ongoing gag-a-week webcomic hosted by the website Mezzacotta. A collaborative effort, it has no single author, instead offering artists and writers to submit strips at their whim.
The strip also does not have a singular canon and continuity; instead, it offers the authors a cast of six characters with broad physical attributes and personality traits, licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 — including Meridien, Delkin, Ambrose, Holly, Oliver and Samantha. These characters can then be plunged by the guest authors into whatever scenario and genre they like, within certain limits of acceptable tone.
Jenny Everywhere appeared in two linked strips in 2011, scripted by Chris Mann and illustrated first by Mann, then by Paavo Pirinen.
