Guardians of Time

Many universes were home to groups of powerful beings calling themselves “the Guardians of Time”.

The 925th Universe's Guardians of Time created the Cyclocks. They were equal in power to Doctor Know, who once applied to join their ranks, only for his email to go unanswered. He was unsure if this was a sign that they simply didn't check their mail very often, or that they were actively disinterested in recruitment. Behind the scenes

“The Guardians of Time” were mentioned without context in Brandon Longstreth's open-source blurb describing the Cylocks. They share their name with cosmic beings from the Doctor Who universe, and with the titular human organisation of benevolent travellers from the Guardians of Time novel series by Marianne Curley, launched in 2002. However, it is likely that this is more or less a coincidence.
