Hawk Manor was a manor in one universe, located close to a mountain.
It was home to a large, dusty library, of which Elshanor was the Head Librarian, which contained collections of “Ficlets works” as well as a locked case covered in chains, containing the Ficlinomicon. There was a secret marble tunnel starting in the library, which was commonly supposed to lead to the nearby mountain cave “where Krully met his fate”. However, the library was also home to a magical interdimensional portal, leading into the Library of the Strange and Wonderful House. (PROSE: Our Strange and Wonderful House)
Behind the scenes
Hawk Manor and its denizens predated Our Strange and Wonderful House, originating in Elsha Hawk's writings on the real-world Ficlets website, referenced within Our Strange and Wonderful House as a nod to these origins.
