The Red Interdimensional Telephone.

The Red Interdimensional Telephone, or R.I.T., was a device purchased at cost by the Man in Grey when he set up the Multidimensional Finders Service. On it, Jenny Over-There was able to receive calls from anyone in the Multiverse. The Man in Grey was able to choose the phone number himself; it was a relatively rare one, but phone calls meant for unrelated people in the Multiverse who shared the number still somehow ended up contacting the R.I.T. instead. The Man in Grey temporarily disconnected the R.I.T. and removed it from the premises when he and Jenny took a day to interview candidates interested in joining the Service. (PROSE: Open Sourcing)

Jenny Nowhere once physically transported herself into the headquarters of the M.F.S. through a R.I.T. phone call. As she came through, the R.I.T. started glowing and then emitting a “weird gray smoke”. (PROSE: Family Business)
