The native version of Jenny Everywhere of the universe of the Oubliette lived around the time when the complex comprising the Oubliette was constructed. After another version of Jenny was locked in the Oubliette with her companion Laura at a later point in time, this Jenny telepathically communicated with her earlier self, and got her to bribe the complex's architect to build a secret escape hatch into the Oubliette. (PROSE: The Oubliette: Solution)

Behind the scenes

Jenny's solution is a reference to a running joke in the Doctor Who comedy special The Curse of Fatal Death, where Rowan Atkinson's Doctor and his nemesis the Master repeatedly used their time-travelling abilities to bribe the architect of Castle Tersurus to retroactively build a series of traps and escape routes in a game of increasingly childish one-upmanship.

Unlike in The Curse of Fatal Death, the name of the architect in The Oubliette: Solution is never specified.
