Plot

Writer Garsecg is trying to write a story about Jenny Everywhere and tries to talk her into telling them about some of her adventures directly. Jenny stalls, however, nitpicking the morality of Garsecg's proposal of pretending that she's living through a 1001 Nights scenario. Before long, she makes clear her real complaint, namely that the writer has been procrastinating and unproductively browsing Tumblr instead of either writing or getting some sleep, the latter of which they sorely need. Garsecg instantly proves Jenny's point by beginning to negotiate the right to look at their Tumblr dashboard just once more, but Jenny — revealing that she is indeed physically there and not just a figment of their imagination — demands that they close their laptop and look her in the eye.
