Behind the scenes
Background
Johann-Octavius Gans appended the comic with the following commentary:
Don'tcha just hate it when flying saucers land? You want sexy space-nymphs and get giant spider-lizards. You want big-headed geniuses who will share the knowledge of the cosmos and you get freaky-deaky space hippies. You want extraterrestrial heroes with abilities far beyond those of mortal men, you get war-mongering star cannibals. And just when you're actually prepared for the worst - you get sexy space nymphs. |
