Automatia was the dimension adopted as a home by the Order of the Automata, acting as a refuge for liberated robots of all types from across the Multiverse.
Automatia originally gained its independence when the Ancient One, the Order's founder, defeated the Salamandyrs in the First Great War, though he was destroyed in a surprise attack at the extreme end of the War, whereupon his soul ended up in “the Underworld”. Many years later, the Salamandyr War Fleet returned and subjugated Automatia, and the Ancient One was unable to enact his planned resurrection in time to stop them due to “traffic in the Underworld [being] crazy”. However, they were stopped by Marksmanship-522. Many of the rank-and-file Salamandyrs were happy enough to leave “this rustbucket”, liking their own dimension much better. (PROSE: Peace and Quiet)
