Marcus Nelson was a college student and friend of Universe Gemini's Zed Hudson (who has a small crush on him). The attraction between the two is subtle, yet mutual, however Marcus was not completely used to the level of weirdness that Zed's life as a part-time superhero seemed to generate. The level of which didn't clearly dawn on Marcus until he was introduced to Zed's friend, the "Space-nymph" known as 'Neila'.
