Therns are a subspecies of the humanoid [[Martian]]s of {{w|Edgar Rice Burroughs|Edgar Rice Burroughs}}'s Mars novels (where the Martians call their own world “Barsoom”). They are in the public domain. They are characterised by pale skin, allowing [[Kim (Parallax Universe)|Kim]] to impersonate one.
