Alice was a character in a 21st century soap opera with intricate romantic plotlines that the Prime Universe Aphrodite enjoyed watching. She was an ex of the central character Anthony, who still harboured secret feelings for her, but the villainous Aunt Eileen objected to them getting together and kept trying to ruin the relationship. In the episode Aphrodite was watching when she was summoned by Valerius-1497, Alice's sister Vanessa had just revealed that she had sent Aunt Eileen a letter about her broken engagement to James.
