A serial killer of unclear gender, wearing a yellow raincoat, resided in the Mud Room of the Strange and Wonderful House.

Looking back, the killer believed that they'd first gone mad after they had sex with a young woman in a car, only for the woman to run away, shoeless, through the mud of the late-winter thaw. A few years later, the future killer started stalking other women in similar public parks, at first just taking pictures of them without consent, then eventually starting to murder them. At some point, the killer was transported to a room in the Strange and Wonderful House that replicated the rainy, muddy environment, and they started killing visitors who stumbled in by mistake. The killer did not realise they'd left the normal world, and didn't understand how they still hadn't been caught even after making many “stupid mistakes”.
