Meanwhile… was a one-page comic story serving as Jay Epps's 2014 Jenny Everywhere Day contribution. It was part of the Kaza's Mate, Gwenna, taking place on the margins of the then-ongoing Kaza's Mate, Gwenna story, Temple of Turmoil!, and featured Jenny teaming up with another public domain character, Herbie Popnecker.

Plot

As a couple of villains incapacitated by Kaza and Gwenna, are trying to escape their bounds the minions are found by Jenny Everwhere, who is looking for a companion of her own. They ask to be untied but are interrupted by Herbie Popnecker appearing and announcing that the time machine is fixed. Jenny and Herbie head off without untying them, pleading that she can’t stay in place very long.

• Jenny appears to be the default Jenny of Jay Epps's works, show elsewhere to be the same incarnation as that seen in The Cosmic Beholder. She is travelling in a (very literal) time machine with Herbie Popnecker, and displays heavy Fourth Wall Awareness, talking about not wanting to “end up as part of the regular cast” by sticking around in Kaza and Gwenna's world too long (as does Herbie, who mentions Kaza's Mate, Gwenna as “the webcomic”).
