A. Haddock was a “known associate” of Jenny Everywhere in at least one incarnation, according to a wanted poster jointly put up for Jenny by a number of organisations who wished to bring her in for questioning. (PROSE: Wanted for Questioning)

That they know each other is supported by at least one Jenny having his picture on her wall. (PROSE: Safe at Home or Fernweh)

Behind the scenes

Illustration of Captain Haddock by Hergé.

Captain Archibald Haddock is one of the main recurring characters of The Adventures of Tintin, a more-or-less retired sea captain who accompanies his best friend, the young, idealistic reporter-detective Tintin, on his various adventures.

Captain Haddock being referenced as a friend of Jenny's may tie back to the fact that Steven Wintle once described his conception of Jenny as “like if Tintin listened to Le Tigre and joined the Fantastic Four”.
