After failing to intimidate her with a Marsh-Maiden and a Dragon in two other universes, the Beastmaster transported himself and Jenny Everywhere to what Jenny believed to be the 1268261st Universe. There, in a temple near an oasis in the middle of a desert, a Sphinx, Paisi Psusennes, awaited. After turning the Sphinx against the Beastmaster, Jenny destroyed the Beastmaster's shift-gun, stranding him there while she returned to the 38167th Universe.
