April Fools' Day was a holiday celebrating fun, jokes and pranks.
The Faction of the Fooling Fish considered April Fools' Day the most important day of the year, given their modus operandi. When they decided to make a concerted effort to reintroduce themselves to the Multiverse after acquiring a tachyonic sailing ship, they did so on April Fools' Day, playing complex but well-intentioned tricks on multiple people and groups across the dimensions, including a group of incarnations of Jenny Everywhere. (PROSE: Multiversal Mischief)
In a metafictional sense, reality was more fluid on April Fools' Day, with the “Rule of Funny” reigning supreme. Lord Grallyx once attempted to take advantage of this to defeat Jenny Everywhere by breaking the Fourth Wall and editing the Jenny Everywhere Wiki, but was ultimately unsuccessful because April Fools' Day stories had no power to affect the canonical status-quo, as Jenny gleefully informed him. (PROSE: The Wiki Adventures of Lord Grallyx)
In one universe, the door of the apartment belonging to Jenny's neighbour David Lowe, which should have borne the number “10”, became adorned with an aleph-null instead as an April Fools' prank which preteen genius Eric thought absolutely hilarious, and which also made Kim “snigger”. (PROSE: Morning After)
Behind the scenes
In the real world, numerous Jenny Everywhere-related stories have been released on April Fools' Day.
