Shadow-Captain-Evening was one of the Shadow Odds created in Reality Z-25 31-H by the Odds from their own shadow to fight the Shadow Queen, using the Queen's own Shadow-Ray. After fighting off the Queen's shadow guards alongside the other Shadow Odds, Shadow-Captain-Evening was instrumental in preventing the Queen from escaping, catching her after Merv the Griffin and Shadow-Merv flipped her Flying Platform and caused her to fall off. With the crisis resolved, the Shadow Odds were turned back into normal shadows using the Reverse-Shadow-Ray, but not before Shadow-Captain-Evening and the original Captain Evening shared a handshake.
