Plot
A young Cupid remarks on Colonel-028 and other Mark Is' height relative to newer Marks. The Colonel claims that this was a simple result of early Cupids having had to fight tougher foes than newer generations, with him boasting of having fought a mammoth “all by himself” once. This prompts the young Cupid to ask what kind of Cupids fought T-rexes, as he's heard that some Cupids did in the 1980s. The Colonel is at a loss about how to even begin to explain the house-sized Mark IVs of old to him.
Worldbuilding
Universes
- The comic takes place in the Cupid Homeworld.
Other
- The Mark XVIIIs are schedule to be rolled out in the coming summer. Their design has apparently already been previewed to existing Cupids, showing that they will be smaller and lither than any Mark yet.
