Ambagesques were geometrical ‘creatures’ who existed in the jungles of the Euclidean Plane, resembling squiggly lines.
Nature
Unlike Lineas, Ambagesques were wild animals, dwelling in woods and jungles. Although not tame, some Ambagesques were bred in captivity in Geometron zoos, and were somewhat more sluggish and harmless than their feral counterparts, who were wont to attack anyone they deemed a threat, wrapping around them and attempting to suffocate them.
Although this was not the usual way for new Ambagesques to come into existence, it was reportedly possible for a number of Dats to join together into an Ambagesque. (PROSE: The Euclidean Plane)
History
When trying to negotiate a Christmas truce between the Geometrons and the Clockwork Cherubs, Arganthone-056 captured a wild Ambagesque and presented it to the guards at the gate of the Geometron Citadel as a Christmas present and a token of good faith. Though accepting the goodwill behind the gift, the guards awkwardly refused the angry Ambagesque itself, which was subsequently set free. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)
