When Jenny Everywhere brought home a small, hirsute humanoid with a wild shock of hair in one universe, Jenny's roommate Kim briefly thought he was an Oompa-Loompa before Jenny clarified that he was actually a Troll. (PROSE: I Found Him On The Internet)
Behind the scenes
The Oompa-Loompas are a tribe of diminutive humanoids who appear in Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and its various adaptations. In the original edition of the book they were depicted as a fictional African pygmy tribe, but, being convinced of the racist overtones that this brought to the story, Dahl altered them in later editions to be fair-skinned and more overtly non-human, a line also followed by all of the story's official adaptions.
