}}The “'''Skirmish at the Cupid Theatre'''” was the name given by [[Incident Report]] C248B to a fistfight which broke out in 2019 between [[Paintbrush-122]] and [[Sketchbook-430]] at the [[Cupid Theatre]] in the [[Cupid Homeworld]] following the premiere of ''[[The Death? Planned It!]]'' and ''[[The Moonbeams]]'', two episodes of ''[[The Rainbow Adventures]]'' featuring the [[SavageMan|SavageMen]]. 

The source of the quarrel was that the two episodes, which had been developed in parallel by teams led by each of the two artistically-minded Cupids, featured almost identical designs for the villainous [[SavageMan|SavageMen]]. Thus, each Cupid accused the other of plagiarism. Seeing that the fight was giving no sign of resolving, other Cupids tried to call the [[Department of Problem-Solving]], but could only locate [[Valerius-1497]], whose philosophical pontifications were entirely unhelpful. They then called the [[Department of Boxing & Fistfighting]], who declared that it was out of their hands given that the two were not playing by Oxford rules. Finally, the fight was broken up by [[Larrikin-1029]], who caught both Cupids in a large [[burlap sack]] and directly brought them before [[Judicator-337]] of the [[Department of Discipline]].
