Like the others, the Crab took place in the mass escape orchestrated by Pessimist soon after. His efforts were largely unhelpful, consisting of bickering with other escapees including the [[Silver-Shelled Snail (Pessimist and the Dromedaries)|Silver-Shelled Snail]] and the [[Golden Goat (Pessimist and the Dromedaries)|Golden Goat]], although it did pinch at the ankles of the second of the four rank-and-file security guards the escapees had to take down.
